We would like to extend a personal invitation for you to attend Diabetes Forum and CV Summit, scheduled for Friday February 29, 2008 and Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the Westin Prince Hotel in Toronto. Should you not be able to attend in Toronto, Diabetes Forum and Cardiac Update will also be hosted in Edmonton, AB on Friday April 18 th , 2008 and Saturday April 19 th , 2008.

Over 2 million Canadians have cardiovascular disease and over 1 million have diabetes (as many as 6 million may have metabolic syndrome). Next year 75,000 will experience an MI and many others will have a stroke or will die. Up to date management of patients at risk for cardiovascular events is of outmost importance and that is why we have created an annual opportunity for you to review the emerging trends in the management of these patients.

By attending Diabetes Forum and CV Summit, you will have access to the cutting edge of cardiovascular medicine and diabetes care as well as an opportunity to discuss all aspects of high-risk patient management relevant to you and to your patients.

Based on your prior comments, we have shortened each presentation to 15 minutes and have increased the time for panel discussion to ensure that all of your questions are answered.

Also, please note that there will be a special presentations on new web-based initiatives created to improve your practice and patient care, all at the cost-neutral or revenue-positive approach.
